Commissioned by Queen Victoria, and part of Kensington Gardens, these formal gardens were designed in the Italianate Renaissance style and completed in 1861.

Our work in these Grade II* gardens began in 2000 when we were commissioned to replace the roof of the Pump House, restoring it to its original design. Our work received the Copper in Architecture John Smith Award for Craftsmanship.

GHK has also since overseen the restoration of the entire gardens including cleaning and repairs to stonework and sculpture, relining of the water basins, and restoring the fountain displays to their former glory.
