Gray's Inn is one of the four historic Inns of Court which have the exclusive right to call men and women to the Bar of England and Wales.
The Inn has a substantial estate in Holborn comprising of Hall, Treasury Office, Library and Chapel (known as 'Domus') and commercial and residential lettings set around squares, and gardens known as 'The Walks'. Many of the buildings are listed as of architectural and historic interest.
Working at the Inn since 2012, GHK Architects have overseen a number of conservation, refurbishment and repair projects within the estate. These have included upgrading of buildings to improve DDA access and thermal performance. We have also explored options for re-use and the creation of additional office and residential accommodation, provision of electric car charge points and enhanced greenhouse facilities to support the extensive grounds.
